LipidsLife™ Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) Oil Powder

Non-restructure MCT oil is produced through physical distillation processes, which allow the powder to preserve the oil’s nature. MCT oil is derived from palm kernel oil (which is the richest source of MCT), with two typical concentration ratios of caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10), 60%:40% and 70%:30%, respectively.

In our body, MCTs are sent directly to the liver and are metabolized in 1/8 the time of Long Chain Fat (LCT) without accumulating in the body as fat. MCTs provide about 10% fewer calories than LCTs – 8.3 cal/gr for MCTs vs 9 cal/gr for LCTs. Reduced chain length also means that MCTs are more rapidly absorbed by the body and more quickly metabolized as fuel.

Wet Blending Dry Blending
Solubility Wet blended product is completely dissolved in water, and the dispersion is good. When dry blended powder dissolves in water, easily to have lumps, and more difficult to completely dissolve. The powder slightly sticks on the bottle. After a period of time there will be stratification.
Particle size, Colour Wet blended powder particle size and colour are more uniform, and very fine. Because of inconsistent raw materials, the colour uniformity is poor, there may be unevenly distributing nutrient situation.
Raw material control Simple list of raw materials to facilitate supply chain management. The moreraw-materials, the more difficult to control, time-consuming and high cost.

Homogenity: with wet blended product, all raw materials are evenly distributed in the solution of each micro-capsule before spraying. This way allows each particle powder in the presence of uniform nutrients.
